18 real human x-rays printed on transparent, heavy-duty plastic ranging in size from approx. 5″W x 3″H to the chest x-ray which measures 11″W x 13 3/4″H. They can be assembled into a full human body 5’L! Great visual learning tool that can spark an interest in science and potentially inspiring future interest in related fields such as radiology, physics, or healthcare!
- WHAT’S INCLUDED: 18 X-rays, ranging in size from approx. 5″W x 3″H to the chest x-ray which measures 11″W x 13 3/4″H and activity guide.
- FULL BODY: Individual x-rays can be assembled to create a full human body measuring over 5’L. It gives children a full view of the bones in their bodies. Try placing it on a light table or panel to watch them glow!
- VISUAL LEARNING: Viewing X-ray images can help explain medical conditions in a visual way, fostering a greater awareness of their own health. or children, this can be particularly educational as they can gain a better understanding of their own anatomy and how the skeletal system functions.
- INTEREST IN SCIENCE: Learning about X-rays and their applications introduces children to basic principles of physics and biology. Explaining how X-rays work, why they can penetrate certain materials, and how they interact with the human body can spark an early interest in science.
